Elite League: Italy to take on Germany in Prato
A tough final test before the World Cup in IndonesiaTuesday, January 31, 2023
At 15:00 CEST on Monday 27 March, the Stadio Lungobisenzio (as confirmed by the FIGC today) will host the Under-20 National Team’s Elite League match against Germany, their final game of the competition. After their fixture against Norway on Thursday 23 March (also in the Elite League), Carmine Nunziata’s side will return to Italy to take on the Germans in a challenging test in Prato. Then, attentions will turn to the World Cup in Indonesia, which will take place from 20 May to 11 June. On 31 March, the Azzurrini will discover their group stage opponents when the draw is held in Bali.
So far, Italy have won three times (against Portugal, Romania and the Czech Republic) and lost against Poland in the Elite League.
