The Under-16 national team, after a loss (2-0) and a draw (2-2) in two friendlies against the Czech Republic in November, will return back to action between Friday 19th to Sunday 21st January at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano for the annual Tornei dei Gironi tournament.
Coach Daniele Zoratto has called 62 players, all born in 2008, and they will be split into two squads of 21 players (National Under-16 team and a Representative B team) and one of 20 (Representative A team) before facing each other in the tournament. The event will kick off on Friday 19 (15:00 CET) with the match between Representative A and Representative B, while the National Under-16 team will play their games on Saturday (15:00 CET) and Sunday (11:00 CET) against the loser and winner of the first match, respectively.
