Daniele Frongia appointed ‘Extraordinary Commissioner’ for UEFA EURO 2020

Mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi signed the order to nominate Daniele Frongia as the ‘Extraordinary Commissioner’ for UEFA EURO 2020. The event will be held across twelve host cities with Rome among them. Four matches will be held at the Stadio Olimpico, including the opening fixture on 12 June. There will be a further two matches in Group A, including Italy if they qualify at the Stadio Olimpico. A quarter-final will also be played in Rome.
The Extraordinary Commissioner will have a role as a point of reference for Roma Capitale, national and international sporting bodies such as CONI and UEFA along with the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio.
