On the pitch in the 2006 Berlin final, when Italy were crowned World Champions for the fourth time, on the sidelines as a member Roberto Mancini's coaching staff in the 2021 Wembley final, which saw Italy win their second European title. After serving as assistant coach of the National First team and working with the Giovanili Azzurre, Daniele De Rossi has now left Club Italia to coach SPAL.
