EUROS AND 2025 WORLD CUP. The Azzurrini, who have qualified for the finals for the fifth time in a row, will enter the competition as the reigning champions, defending the title won last year in Malta. After being placed into Group A with Northern Ireland, Ukraine and Norway, Italy will play their opening fixture against the latter at 16:30 CEST on Monday 15 July at the Seaview Stadium in Belfast. Three days later, the Azzurrini will face Northern Ireland at Inver Park in Larne (20:00 CEST), after which they’ll take on the Ukrainians on Sunday 21 July (again at 20:00 CEST). The top two from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for Thursday 25 July, and also qualify for the 2025 Under-20 World Cup in Chile. Meanwhile, the two third-place teams will face each other in a play-off to determine the fifth European team that will head to Chile. The final at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast (both semi-finals will also be played there) will take place at 20:00 CEST on Sunday 28 July.
