Francesco Camarda spoke: “Our aim is to reach the final phase top of the group and with maximum points: we are a strong side, both technically and in terms of our character”. The Italian strength was seen in the last game against Belgium: “Despite starting badly (2-0 down after less than 15 minutes) - emphasised the forward, born in 2008 and who has already made his Serie A debut with AC Milan - we knew how to turn the result around, showing what we are made of”. Deserved, also thanks to his brace, he concluded: “If I managed to score it is down to teamwork: I repeat, we’re a good group, from first to last”.
Going through to the final phase of the Euros will be the top 8 teams from each group in the elite round and the seven best second-placed sides for a total of 15 teams, including the hosts, Cyprus.
