Belli and Grieco goals not enough: Sweden beat Italy 3-2 in first friendly

The Women's Futsal Team took the lead twice at the Iscar Arena in Vetlanda through Federica Belli and Alessia Grieco, but Bajraktarevic’s side hung onto to game to eventually win 3-2. Tomorrow, the teams will take to the pitch again for a second friendly, also due to start at 19:00 local time.

“It's a disappointing result,” the manager said. “They are physically very strong, that surprised me a bit. We had our chances, we didn’t take them unfortunately and that helped them stay in the game. We also lacked a bit of experience, but can’t drop our focus in games like this. We have a chance to bounce back tomorrow and we will do all we can to take it.”
