Excitement is growing for the Under 17 National Team who, from 20 May to 5 June, will be involved in the European Championship for their age category in Cyprus. Head Coach Massimiliano Favo, after taking the final training session scheduled at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano, has announced his 20-player squad that will represent Italy at the Finals.

The Azzurrini, who fly to Cyprus tomorrow, are in Group C and will play their first game of the competition at the AEK Arena in Larnaca against Poland on Tuesday 21 May (19:30 CEST), before facing Slovakia on Friday 24 (17:00 CEST) at the Dasaki Achnas Stadium and Sweden on Monday 27 (17:00 CEST) at the Paralimni Municipal Stadium. The top two from each of the four groups will advance to the quarter-finals, scheduled for 29 and 30 May, before the semi-finals on Sunday 2 June and the final on Wednesday 5 (19:30 CEST) at the Limassol Stadium.
