"An important match," coach Massimiliano Favo underlined, "even if it has no bearing on where we finish in the group, it is an opportunity to check on the conditions of those who, until now, have had less playing time. We will play to win, as we always have done and will continue to do."

The Azzurrini, who will play their quarter-final on Thursday 30 May (19:30 CEST) at the AEK Arena in Larnaca, will know their opponents, Group D runners-up (France, England, Portugal or Spain), only in the evening (Portugal vs. France and England vs. Spain are scheduled at the same time, at 19:30 CEST).
