Italy extends winning streak with victory over Romania

The Elite League of the Under 20 National Team resumes from Targoviste (Romania), the venue for the last match where Alberto Bollini's Azzurrini will be in the spotlight. After the first five matches, Italy is at the top of the table with 13 points and, against their Romanian counterparts (playing on Thursday, 21 March at 18:00 CET), will have the opportunity to secure the lead and win the tournament.
It will be the first official commitment for the Italy Under 20 in 2024: in the previous five Elite League matches, four victories (in September in the Czech Republic, in October in Catanzaro against Poland, in November in England, and in Sassuolo against Portugal) and one draw, which came in the opening match in Germany. Bollini has called up 22 players, who will gather on Monday at Coverciano and depart from Bologna the following day bound for Romania.
