After the UEFA Euro 2020 opener win over Turkey, the Azzurri got back to training at Coverciano.
On Saturday morning, several players recovered with a pool session, whilst Florenzi, who came off at the end of the first half in the match, underwent medical tests that showed some inflamed muscle tissue in his right calf.
In the afternoon, the Azzurri who did not start against Turkey faced a stern test against Pescara Primavera. Sirigu, Verratti and Raspadori played the first part of the game for Pescara, whilst Belotti and Meret joined them for the second half. Marco Verratti played around 20 minutes of football in total.
The Azzurri ran out 6-0 winners; Bernardeschi, Belotti and Chiesa scored in the first 30-minute period, whilst Raspadori, Cristante and Pessina bagged in the second.
