Mancini has returned to Roma to recover from an adductor muscle strain in the right thigh and Politano has returned to Napoli to address the tenderness of the triceps surae. Luciano Spalletti, given the medical diagnoses, has decided to release the players back to their clubs as part of the mutually collaborative relationship between the National side and Italian clubs.
