From Paris to Budapest, from facing France to Israel. The day after the brilliant win against Les Bleus on the first matchday in Nations League, the National team landed in the Hungarian capital, where this afternoon they will get back out onto the pitch for a training session at the Nándor Hidegkuti Stadium to prepare for the match against Israel.
After Matchday 1, the Azzurri are top of Group A2 alongside Belgium - who beat Israel 3-1 yesterday - and on Monday evening at the Boszik Stadium (20:45 CEST, live on Rai 1 - Referee: Kruzliak (SVK)) the Azzurri will be looking for another three points to boost their chances of a spot amongst the seeded teams in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Donnarumma and his teammates didn’t just win on the pitch, but also in the TV ratings. The clash at Parc des Princes, which was broadcast live on Rai 1, was watched by around 5.5 million viewers (5,567,000 people) and took up 31.1% of the share, winning last night’s prime time. The first half had 29.7% of the share and 5.431 million viewers, while the second half had 5,689 million viewers (32.4% of the share) tuned in, with the final stages of the match being watched by nearly 6 million people, equating to 37% of the share.
