Following the two friendlies played against Sweden, the second of which ended in a great victory for the Azzurre, Francesca Salvatore’s National Team has another commitment to look forward to – one that will finish off the season. From 27-30 June, Italy will take part in the Women Futsal Week Summer Cup in Varazdin, Croatia. The Azzurre will get together on the morning of 23 June to fly to Croatia. At the Palasport Arena, four days of preparations will ensue before Italy play their first match against Moldova at 17:00 CEST on Thursday 27 June. At 16:00 CEST on Friday, they’ll face Poland. On Saturday, they’ll have a day of rest before their final fixture against hosts Croatia at 18:00 CEST on Sunday 30 June. 19 players have been called up for the occasion, two of which have been named in the squad for the first time: Ana Carolina Sestari and Renata Adamatti.
