The Azzurre's preparations for their double-friendly header, rounding off 2022, is in full swing. After having done fitness tests and a joint-training session with the Women's Under-23 squad the day earlier, Milena Bertolini's group had their final training session at Coverciano on Wednesday morning. They then headed off to Lignano Sabbiadoro in the afternoon, where they will face Austria on Friday at 17:30 CET (live on Rai 2); four days later, they go to Belfast to play Northern Ireland.

For these two friendlies, the Head Coach will not be able to count on the services of Alice Tortelli, Agnese Bonfantini and Giada Greggi, who have been forced out of the game, along with fellow Roma defender and Austria captain, Carina Wenninger. The three players are unavailable and will return to their partner clubs. Replacing them, Beatrice Merlo and Angelica Soffia have been called up by Milena Bertolini, and therefore leave the under-23 squad, in which they were a part of, who are currently preparing for friendly games against Portugal and England on 10 and 14 November, respectively. Those games will be shown live and exclusively on the FIGC website.

Ticket News - Tickets are available now for the game in Lignano Sabbiadoro through the Vivaticket ticketing agency online at figc.vivaticket.it and vivaticket.com. Prices have been set at reduced rates and there are also discounted prices for the Under-18 category. On the day of the game, tickets will be able to be purchased at the ticket booths located on Viale Europa 144, from 10:00 until 13:00 CET and then from 14:00 CET until the end of the first half.
