Andrea Soncin's tour of Serie A clubs' training grounds continues. After last week's visit to Fiorentina, this morning the coach - along with his assistants Viviana Schiavi and Alessandro Turone - stopped by the capital to follow Roma's training session, who are working at the Giulio Onesti CPO (Olympic Preparation Centre) on the pitch named after Gianluca Vialli, in preparation for their opening fixture against Sassuolo in the Championship Round, scheduled for Saturday at Tre Fontane.

The national team staff, who had already completed the first tour of the headquarters of the ten teams in the top-flight in February, were welcomed by the Giallorosse's women's sector manager, Carlo Maria Stigliano, before the Head Coach held a long chat with Betty Bavagnoli, the Club's Head of Women's football. Tomorrow morning, the Azzurre delegation, with fitness coach Mattia Toffolutti also joining up with them, will move to Vinovo to meet the players of Juventus, new head coach Giuseppe Zappella and his staff. The visit to the Juventus Training Center will be the last before the start of the squad's second meet-up of the year, which will start on Easter Sunday.

The Azzurre will meet at Coverciano to prepare for the first two Euro 2025 qualifiers. Italy will open up in Group 1 of League A against the Netherlands on Friday 5 April (18:15 CEST) in Cosenza, before facing Finland in Helsinki on Tuesday 9 April (18:15 CEST).
