Andrea Soncin’s Serie A club tour continues. This morning, the Azzurre Head Coach - accompanied by assistants Viviana Schiavi and Alessandro Turone, as well as fitness coach Mattia Toffolutti - headed to Vismara, where AC Milan train and play their home matches.
The National Team delegation watched the Rossonere in action alongside Elisabet Spina, Head of AC Milan Women. Once the players had completed their session, Soncin greeted them and spent time with Maurizio Ganz and his coaching team, with staff members on both sides holding important discussions.
“For us, it’s vital to know how the girls work,” said the Azzurre Head Coach. “This information allows us to personalise our work better and create an even more precise team identity. Continuous communication between clubs and Club Italia is really important and contributes to the development of the women’s game. I’d like to thank AC Milan and Coach Ganz for their warm welcome. I’ve seen an organised and determined group and a sports centre that allows the players to train at their best.”
Tomorrow morning, the Head Coach, who had previously visited Roma, Juventus and Inter, will head to Fiorentina’s Viola Park. On Sunday, meanwhile, he’ll fly to England to watch Aurora Galli and Martina Piemonte in action for Everton. Soncin’s Serie A club tour will then resume after the Azzurre’s Nations League fixtures against Spain and Switzerland on 1 and 5 December.
