He’s got plenty of talent with his feet, and now we’ll have to see if he can match that with a controller in his hands. Alessio Romagnoli is the Italian player from Roberto Mancini’s national side that has been chosen by the FIGC to defend Italy’s colours in the FIFA eNations StayAndPlay Cup: a friendly tournament promoted by FIFA with the aim of reaffirming the commitment of world football in sharing positive messages during these tough times.

A big fan of video games, Romagnoli will be one of the eNazionale TIMVISION’s two-man team for the FIFA 20 eNations StayAndPlay Cup, which is an international competition starting on Tuesday 21 April. Italy will play their first game in the group stage at 17:00 CEST against Spain before facing Malta that evening, then on Wednesday 22 April they’ll face Portugal. The first place in the group will qualify for the knockout phase on Friday 24 April, which is the last phase before the final on Saturday 25 April.
It’ll be a good test for the Azzurri’s defender which he’ll take on alongside his new ‘teammate’, Raffaele ‘Er_caccia98’ Cacciapuoti, who won the online Playstation tournament that saw 32 finalists compete to qualify for the TIMVISION FIFA 2020 team.
