Alberto Bollini names U19 squad for international tournament in Croatia
Tests against Croatia, Germany and Czechia await the AzzurriniThursday, August 28, 2025

After their two friendlies against Albania in Novarello - a 4-1 win followed by a 1-1 draw - the U19s are set for another round of tests in an international tournament. They’ll face hosts Croatia on Wednesday 3 September (17:00 CEST) and Germany on Saturday 6 September (17:00 CEST), both at the City Stadium in Koprivnica, before taking on Czechia on Tuesday 9 September (11:00 CEST) at the Podturen Stadium. Given that Czechia and Germany won’t face each other (and will therefore only play two games), the tournament will be slightly unbalanced.
The 22-man squad features 20 players born in 2007 and two from 2008: Spezia midfielder Comotto and AC Milan attacker Lontani.
It was also confirmed yesterday that Italy will play a double-header against Scotland, with the first match on Thursday 10 October at the Stadio Antonio Molinari in Campobasso and the second on Sunday 13 October at the Stadio Mario Lancellotta in Isernia. These two friendlies will serve as preparation for the first round of Euro qualifying, scheduled from 12 to 18 November, with Italy set to host Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova and Poland in Group 9.
