adidas presents the Italy Icons collection

adidas has today unveiled their most recent instalment of the Icons range, which sees the re-production of some truly classic kits. Taking reference from the ‘90s, an era of football that inspired a general and defined the style of the game, on and off the pitch, the collection seeks to evoke some of the most memorable moments of the decade, focusing on a retro look that unites sporting excellence with streetwear style.

Inspired by the “adidas Equipment” era, the collection reworks some of the classic kits of the past, reimagining them as they might have looked had the brand with the three stripes created them in the early ‘90s. A centrally-placed adidas logo, soft fabric and a relaxed fit help the shirts to strike a perfect balance between the iconic and the comfortable.

This is a collection aimed at the fan who lives and breathes football and appreciates both nostalgia and comfort and high-performance technology. The adidas football icons collection – comprised of a shirt, shorts and socks – is available now via the FIGC store and the adidas website, as well as at adidas stores and other selected retailers.
