The Giulio Onesti Olympic Preparation Center, in conjunction with the gathering of the Under 16 National Team, hosted the meeting between the coach of the Women's National Team, Andrea Soncin, and the staff of the youth national teams, coordinated by Enrico Sbardella.
The meeting, preceding the commitments of the Azzurre in February and the Round 2 of qualifications for the Under 19 European Championship (in Portugal) and Under 17 European Championship (in Serbia) in March, took place in the morning. Soncin, accompanied by vice-coach Viviana Schiavi, technical collaborator Maurizio Peccarisi, athletic trainer Mattia Toffolutti, and match analyst Guido Didona, then departed for Naples to attend the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa match between Napoli Femminile and Roma. "A moment of sharing and discussion, in a holistic vision," said Soncin. "We addressed numerous issues related to the evolution of the game and adaptation to an increasingly relational style of football."
The day continued with a coordination and planning meeting among the coaches of the youth national teams: with Sbardella, Selena Mazzantini (Under 19), Jacopo Leandri (Under 17), and Marco Dessì (Under 16), along with their respective staff. "Days like these further highlight the collaboration between the senior national team and the youth teams," commented Sbardella. The commitments of the various teams in recent months have been many, but I believe that updating and discussion are fundamental to the development of new ideas/
