Nicola ‘nicaldan’ Lillo, Carmine ‘Naples17x’ Liuzzi, Alfonso ‘AlfonsoGreyfox’ Mereu and Raffaele ‘Rafinter934’: these are the four players that will represent Italy as part of the TIMVISION PES eNational Team at eEURO 2021, the second edition of the competition. Italy will be hoping to defend their title after emerging victorious in 2020.
This new-look TIMVISION PES eNational Team took shape after the finals of the selection process, which pitted the winners of the eight qualifying stages and the four reigning champs against one another. The two days of matches, which were streamed live on the eNational Team’s twitch channel and Tim TV with the Autogol and Player Inside, saw Nicola 'nicaldan' Lillo, Carmine 'Naples17x' Liuzzi, Alfonso 'AlonsoGrayfox' Mereu all keep their places on the team. The new addition to the side is Raffaele ‘Rafinter934’ Pagliuca, who replaces Rosario ‘Npk_02’ Accurso.
And now, the TIMVISION PES eNational Team can begin training ahead of the qualifying for the second editions of the European Championship, which will get underway in March. The ten winners of the groups, which will be drawn in February, will qualify directly for the finals, while the ten runners-up will be divided into two groups of five times, which the top three teams from each group progressing to the finals, which will take place on 9 and 10 July.
