33 players called up for preparation camp ahead of final two Euro 2025 qualifiers

Three weeks on from the draw with Norway in Ferrara, the Women's National Team return to training ahead of their final two Euro 2025 qualifiers. The Azzurre's journey in Group 1 of League A will end against the Netherlands and Finland, scheduled for Friday 12 July in Sittard (20:45 CEST) and Tuesday 16 July in Bozen (19:00 CEST). Two games that will decide the fate of Andrea Soncin's team, who need finish second - currently third behind the Oranje and Norway - to book their place at the tournament, which is set to be played from 2 to 27 July 2025 in Switzerland.

Following the end of the domestic league campaign, and the two fixtures against the Norwegians, the players have benefited from a rest period. 33 players have been called up to the training camp, who will train from Wednesday 26 June to Saturday 29 June in Galzignano Terme, a small town in the province of Padua, and then move to Reischach, where they will remain until leaving for Sittard in the Netherlands. By Saturday 6 July, Coach Soncin will have to confirm his squad for the two games that will decide whether the national team will qualify automatically for EURO 2025 or instead have to go through the play-offs, scheduled for the end of the year.
