27 players called up by Corradi for training camp

Having held a training camp at Novarello just under two weeks ago, the Under-17 National Team are set to meet up again ahead of the European Championship finals, which will take place from Wednesday 17 May to Friday 2 June in Hungary.

27 Azzurrini have been called up by Head Coach Bernardo Corradi, and they will get down to work from Tuesday 9 to Sunday 14 May at Coverciano. All of these players were born in 2006 with the exception of three: Inter’s Matteo Cocchi, Milan’s Mattia Liberali and Sassuolo’s Giorgio Vezzosi (2007). The group will meet up in the afternoon of Tuesday 9 May and go on to face Parma’s U17s at 11:30 CEST on Sunday 14 May. After this, the 20-man squad for the European Championship will be announced.

Italy will face Spain (Thursday 18 May), Serbia (Sunday 21 May) and Slovenia (Wednesday 24 May) in Group B later on this month.
