Bollini: ‘The boys were exemplary’ in 1-0 win over Greece

After their narrow 1-0 friendly victory over Albania at Coverciano on 13 August, the Under-19 National Team are ready to continue their preparations for the first phase of European Championship qualifying, with two prestigious friendlies in store. The Azzurrini, who will face Slovenia, Iceland and Lithuania in the Euro qualifying round between 6 and 12 October in Slovenia, will come up against England at St George’s Park on Thursday 2 September (15:00 CEST), while they’ll then take on the Netherlands in Katwijk on Monday 6 September (15:30 CEST).
24 players have been called up by Head Coach Carmine Nunziata for the upcoming training camp at the Novarello Sports Centre, where the team will get to work on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 August before heading to England on Wednesday 1 September.
