22 players selected for the friendly double header with Albania

After the training camp held at the beginning of the month at Coverciano, ending with a 3-1 win over a Lega Pro Representative team, the Under 16s will meet back up on Sunday at Villaggio Azzurro in Novarello before setting off to Albania on Monday, where they will play two friendlies against their Albanian counterparts.
22 players, born in 2007, have been selected by Daniele Zoratto for the Azzurrini's first official matches of 2023, scheduled for Tuesday 21 February at 17:00 CET in Tirana and then two days later in Elbasan at 12:00 CET.
Italy, who won the ‘Val de Marne’ competition last November in France, have had five successes, two draws and four defeats so far in this 2022/23 season. At this under-16 level, both sides have met each other three times, with two wins for the Azzurrini and a draw.
