2025 Under-21 EURO final tournament draw to be held on Tuesday

The 2025 Under-21 EURO final tournament draw will be held at the Slovak Philharmonic Reduta Building in Bratislava at 19:00 CET on Tuesday 3 December. Carmine Nunziata’s Italy, who qualified for the tournament by finishing top of Group A, will thus discover their group stage opponents tomorrow. The draw will split the 16 teams into four groups of four, with the top two from each group then progressing to the knockout stage.

Italy, who have won the U21 Euros five times (the Azzurrini’s fourth triumph was in Slovakia, in 2000), will be in Pot 2  alongside Germany, France and Ukraine, with Nunziata’s side having recently played the latter two in November (two 2-2 draws). Spain, the reigning champions England, Portugal and the Netherlands are in Pot 1, while Pot 3 consists of Denmark, Romania, Poland and the Czech Republic. Pot 4, meanwhile, is made up of Georgia, Slovenia, Finland and Slovakia. As the hosts of the tournament, Slovakia will be assigned to position A1, meaning they’ll be in Group A.

“The draw for the Euros and football are currently of secondary importance,” said Nunziata. “All our thoughts are with Edoardo Bove and his family. We hope he makes a quick recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch.”

Ticket sales for the U21 Euros next summer (between 11 and 28 June), whose final will be staged at the National Football Stadium in Bratislava, will begin at 12:00 CET on Wednesday.
