Andrea Ferretti

Andrea Ferretti was born in 1951 and he’s a Professor in Orthopaedics and Trauma and a Director at the Specialised school at the Università La Sapienza in Rome. After his experiences in volleyball (Italian champion in 1975 as an Ariccia V.C. player before two coaches coaching at Federlazio) he became the doctor for the Italy basketball and volleyball teams and then President of the FIVB Medical Commission. he joined the FIGC in 1990 as the National Team Doctor. In 2014, he became part of the UEFA Medical Commission. The author of other 250 publications in the field of orthopaedics and he has presented talks at the main conferences on the topic.
