Valter Di Salvo
Valter Di Salvo was born in 1963 and is a Professor in Performance Training Methodology at the Università del Foro Italico in Rome. His career began at Lazio where he was a fitness coach for 14 years between 1989 and 2003 before he moved to Real Madrid and then Manchester United between 2004 and 2007. In 2008, he returned to Real Madrid as the Performance Director at Real Madrid Tech. In 2010, he was named Performance and Science Director at the Qatar FA and at Aspire Academy which is a role he still holds alongside that at Club Italia thanks to an agreement reached in 2012 between the FIGC and QFA. He is the author of various scientific journals on sports science applied to football.
