The Beach Soccer National Team was founded in 2004 by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and came under the Club Italia umbrella in the 2011/12 season. Over the years, the group have finished second at the World Cup in 2008 and 2019 and won the Euro Beach Soccer League on two occasions (in 2005 and 2018).
