From this morning until Sunday 19 November, Rome’s Museo Napoleonico (Piazza di Ponte Umberto I) will be hosting the ‘Shades of Azzurro’ exhibition. This is the title chosen for the project to take the Coverciano Museo del Calcio’s collection all around Italy.
Entry is free from 10 to 18:00 (last entry to the museum at 17:30), the World Cups and European Championship trophies can be admired, as well as Azzurri shirts from De Sisti (1967), Re Cecconi (1974), Giordano (1985), Ancelotti (1986), Casiraghi (1994), Totti (1998) and De Rossi (2011). On top of this, the balls from the 2006 World Cup final and the 2021 and 1968 European Championship final victories will all be on display.
Thanks to virtual reality and the partnership with Noema Digital, it will also be possible to relive the 1982 World Cup Final through a VR headset: experience being inside the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid with Rossi, Tardelli and Altobelli’s goals, reliving President Pertini’s emotions.
