It was an emotional and special day for the National beach soccer team head coach, Emiliano Del Duca. While many adjectives could be used to describe it, the most accurate one is probably 'intense'. Because in Coverciano Del Duca received the Special Golden Bench from the Technical Sector for leading his side to winning the European Championship in the summer of 2023 on the sands in Alghero. And that very cup, a symbol of victory and an extraordinary journey made by the Italbeach Azzurri, is now added to the collection at the Museo del Calcio in Coverciano (Italy's National Football Museum).

Together with that trophy, the Azzurri also received a certificate for a runners-up finish at the Dubai World Cup last February, presented by the President of the Football Museum Foundation, Matteo Marani.

The cup was delivered to Marani directly by FIGC president, Gabriele Gravina.
