After reviewing the numerous works uploaded onto the Youth and School Sector's 'Valori in rete' (Values on the net) platform, the jury, chaired by Giuseppe Capua, president of the Federal Anti-Doping Commission, proclaimed the three videos (for the 'zones' North, Centre and South) that won the 2022/23 edition of 'A Goal for Health'.
The project, promoted by the FIGC with the patronage and operational support of the Italian Committee for UNICEF, reached its sixth edition and saw the participation of 149 third and fourth grade students from 31 high schools, distributed in 11 different Italian regions. A total of 3725 students were involved.
The aim of the initiative is to promote, within Italian schools, a culture of health education and respect for the rules, to bring out the most genuine values of sporting practice and to spread every possible form of the fight against doping.
The students of the winning classes will be awarded at the beginning of the new school year, at a special event organised in Coverciano where, after a visit to the Football Museum, they will compete in a 'mixed' tournament on the pitches of the Federal Technical Centre.
