UEFA formalises the 2023-27 Committees and Panels

UEFA has formalised the composition of the Committees and Panels for the 2023-27 period. A total of 19 committees construct UEFA's policy with regard to the different facets of European football.
The committees discuss issues ranging from medical matters and players' status/transfers to refereeing, finance and the UEFA competitions, and submit advice, proposals and recommendations to UEFA's Executive Committee, which may also delegate some of its duties to a committee.
Members of the committees and expert panels are appointed for a duration of four years.
17 Italians are present in the committees. FIGC president Gabriele Gravina is the Chairman of the Club Competitions Committee. Members of that committee also include the Napoli and Roma Presidents, Aurelio De Laurentiis and Dan Friedkin respectively. The general secretary, Marco Brunelli is a member of the National Team Competitions Committee; the president of the Youth and School sector of the FIGC, Vito Tisci is a member of the Youth and Amateur Football Committee; the president of the Futsal sector of the FIGC, Luca Bergamini is a member of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee; Niccolò Donna is a member of the HatTrick Committee; Maria Pilar Vettori is in the Stadium and Security Committee; Alessandro Palmeri in the Players' Status, Transfer and Agents and Match Agents Committee; Giovanni Valenti in the Marketing Advisory Committee; Paolo Corbi in the Media Committee; Cristina Blasetti in the Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee; Demetrio Albertini is amongst the vice-presidents of the Football Committee (whose Special Advisor is Roberto Rosetti, also Chairman of the Referees Committee); Vito Di Gioia is in the Grassroots Football Panel; Paolo Piani is in the Jira Panel; Katia Senesi is in the Referee Convention Panel; Gianluca Rocchi is in the Refereeing Development Panel.
