In today’s Federal Council meeting, it was confirmed that the regulatory changes to transform the Women’s Serie A into a professional league from next season have been completed.

“This is an important day,” said President Gravina. “Finally, there are now rules governing the activity and practice of professionalism in women’s football. We are the first federation in Italy to take this major step.”
