The FIGC has drawn up a document: the ‘General guidelines for the planning, organisation and management of professional football matches behind closed doors aimed at containing the COVID-19 epidemic’.
The document’s main aims are: to define consistent and homogeneous guidelines that allow for the planning, organisation and management of professional league matches behind closed doors in such a way as to contain the COVID-19 epidemic; to identify actions that mitigate risks to the safety of players, staff, referees and other authorised personnel; to indicate the categories of people who can be admitted to and are acknowledge in the organisation of matches behind closed doors; to structure a homogeneous configuration of the Stadiums and access routes to the areas of activity; to organise and optimise the procedures for the preparation and management of the television broadcasting of matches; to encourage the coordination of activities for those responsible in organising and managing safety.
