The calendars for the second phase of Serie A Femminile
The league will soon make its return with the start of the championship round and relegation roundTuesday, February 28, 2023
On the weekend of Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March, the long race to win the Scudetto and avoid relegation begins. After the break for the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia Femminile Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (first legs 4 and 5 Match, return fixtures Saturday 11 March), the Serie A Femminile TIM will make its return with the start of the championship round and relegation round. The teams that finish first and second will qualify for next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League, while two will drop into the second tier.
As of today, the ten Serie A teams know what awaits them until 27 May, after which the Coppa Italia final and World Cup in Australia and New Zealand will take place. If two or more teams finish level on points, the points obtained and goal difference in the four head-to-heads will come into play (click here for the current league standings).
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND: Fiorentina vs. Roma and Juventus vs. Milan: these are the first two encounters of the Championship Round, with Inter sitting out the opening week. The teams will continue where they left off in terms of points, meaning Spugna’s Roma continue to an eight-point advantage over second-place Juventus, who handed the Giallorosse their only two defeats in the first stage of the campaign.
The current league leaders won’t play on matchday two, and then it’ll be Juve’s turn to rest. The Bianconere sit five points ahead of Inter and six in front of Milan and Fiorentina. Fiorentina, who, unlike all of the others in the championship round, won’t be involved in the Coppa Italia semi-finals will be the final team to watch on as the others take to the pitch in the league. Matchdays 5 and 10 will see Inter take on Milan and Roma face Juventus (first match in Rome, the return fixture in Turin).
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND – Matchday one (18-19 March)

Juventus vs. Milan
No match: Inter
RELEGATION ROUND: The fight to avoid relegation will be gripping, with Sassuolo, who won both of their final two matches in the first phase, currently on 17 points ahead of Pomigliano (14), Parma (13), Como (11) and Sampdoria (10). Como will sit out the opening matchday, which will see the Neroverde take on the Blucerchiate and Parma travel to Pomigliano.
It'll then be time for a Emilian derby as Parma face Sassuolo on matchday two, with the former scheduled to rest on the final day of the season. The latter will finish at home against Como, as will Pomigliano against Sampdoria. The bottom side will be relegated directly, while the team that finishes in penultimate position will be involved in a relegation play-off with the second-place side in Serie B. Just like in the championship round, the points obtained during the first part of the season will be carried over.
