Referee Chiffi case: Mourinho receives ten-game suspension, and €50,000 fine for AS Roma and the Head Coach
The Giallorossi Head Coach had been under investigation following his comments on 3 May after the game against MonzaWednesday, June 28, 2023
The National Federal Court, chaired by Carlo Sica, has ordered AS Roma Head Coach José Mourinho to pay a 50,000 euro fine and given him a ten-game suspension, taking effect from matchday one in next season's league campaign.
Mourinho had been under investigation following comments made about referee Daniele Chiffi after the game between Monza and AS Roma on 3 May.
The NFT has also given a 50,000 euro fine to the Giallorossi Club, refered to as strict liability,
