One huge event to celebrate 25 years of Race for the Cure. The biggest event in the world for the fight against breast tumours, organised by Komen Italia, is preparing to celebrate this important milestone. From Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 May, the Circus Maximus will become home to the promotion of healthcare and prevention. The central element of the event will be the Race Village, opening on 9 May at 12:00 CEST, with over 170 stands that offer the chance to explore sporting activities, fitness, healthy diet, mental well-being, entertainment, and displays and conferences on ideas of health and prevention. The FIGC will also have a stand where some of the trophies won by the National team will be on display, from the 1982 and 2006 World Cups to the 2021 European Championship Cup, mascot Oscar will also be there.
THE RACE. On Sunday 12, there will be the grand finale of the 25th edition of the iconic Race for the Cure race. All participants will meet at 10:00 CEST on via Petroselli (Bocca della Verità) for the 2k walk and 5k race open to all. This year, there will also be a 10k race for the very first time, aimed at competitive runners.
