Project HatTrick V: meeting on the anti-doping education programme with the girls from the National Under 23 Women's team

Meetings with the men's and women's national teams continue as part of the UEFA HatTrick V Project, whose aim is to ensure effective anti-doping education, a crucial pillar in the fight against doping and the first line of defence in protecting the rights of players and the integrity of our sport.

In the early afternoon yesterday at Coverciano, the Federal Anti-Doping Commission and NADO Italy met the players and staff of the National Women's Under 23 team, meeting at the Federal Technical Centre in view of Monday 20 February's friendly match against Sweden’s U23’s.

The secretary of the Federal Anti-Doping Committee, Paolo Nucci, presented the educational programme and its objectives, while Dr Francesca Boscariol for NADO Italy dealt with the topics of anti-doping control in general and the RTP (Registered Testing Pool), recalling the list of prohibited substances, and then discussed the application for Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
