Partnership agreed between the FIGC and Regione Lazio to promote sport and tourism

An agreement between the Regione Lazio and the FIGC was presented this morning at the Regione Lazio headquarters in the presence of FIGC general secretary, Marco Brunelli, 1982 World Cup winner, Marco Tardelli, the president of Regione Lazio, Francesco Rocca, and the councilor for Budget, Economic Planning, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Giancarlo Righini.

The Azzurri head coach, Luciano Spalletti, also spoke via a video link during the event.

Thanks to this initiative, Lazio will host the finals of the youth leagues in 2025, from the under 18s of Serie A clubs to the under 15s of amateur clubs, as well as the women's ones.

During the European Championships, the Regione Lazio will also be present in Iserlohn, Germany, with its own space inside Casa Azzurri and, starting from next autumn, three fixtures for the Italian national football teams will be held in Lazio, which will involve the The men's senior team, the women's team and the Under 21 team.

Finally, some of the national team players will be the face of the Region's social media campaign, aimed at promoting the numerous tourist destinations within the region of Lazio.
