After the meeting at the start of February with the AC Milan senior side, representatives from the FIGC Anti-doping Commission and NADO Italia met with the AC Milan Under 19s this morning at the Milanello Sports Centre in Carnago, part of the UEFA anti-doping programme HatTrick V.
Paolo Nucci (Federal Anti-doping Commission) and Federico Verdi (NADO Italia) met with players, medical staff, and the coach of the Youth League participants. The competition, starting on 19 April in Nyon, will see AC Milan competing in the Final Four against Porto, semi-final opposition, Nantes and Olympiacos.
Central to the discussion were themes of anti-doping controls, the RTP (Registered Testing Pool), the list of prohibited substances and the exemption request for therapeutic means (TUE). The main aim of the programme is to prevent intentional and unintentional doping, helping players to make accidental violations of the rules.
