The FIGC is alongside Komen Italia once again in the name of cancer prevention. The signed shirt from the ex-Azzurri captain’s final game for Italy, the ‘Finalissima’ on 1 June 2022 between Italy Champions of Europe and Argentina Champions of South America, will be up for auction on the Charity Stars platform from tomorrow until Friday 3 May.

Funds from the charity auction will be donated to the Prevention Mobile Unit, the programme from Komen Italia which will stop by Campo dei Miracoli in Corviale, home of the Calciosociale project and, from this year, also the FIGC's Federal Territorial Centre. Thanks to the Prevention Mobile Unit, diagnostic tests for breast cancer and other diseases are offered free of charge, particularly to women living in conditions of social and economic hardship and who have less access to preventative measures. With six high-tech mobile units, the Komen Prevention scheme has carried out over 800 days of promoting women's health, bringing health protection opportunities "at home" to over 250,000 women in 17 Italian regions.
