FIGC promoting UEFA's heart resuscitation campaign

The FIGC is supporting 'Get Trained, Save Lives', the heart resuscitation campaign created by UEFA together with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC). Through an interactive training programme available on get-trained.com, the campaign provides the medical skills needed to act in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.

Many international football stars and legends of the past are supporting the campaign, including Erling Haaland, Lautaro Martínez, Ana Marković, Ruud Gullit, Gareth Bale, Thierry Henry, Didier Deschamps and Rio Ferdinand. UEFA and ERC have so far provided practical training to 3,000 players, coaches, referees and staff members. And ahead of the Euro 2024 finals, scheduled for June and July in Germany, all participating national teams will learn how to provide first aid in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. The campaign will receive particular attention throughout the European Championships, with a TV advert and dedicated activities in the ten host cities' fan zones.
