FIGC participates in a sustainability panel ahead of deadline day

The FIGC took part in a panel dedicated to Sustainability yesterday ahead of deadline day, organised at the Hotel Hilton Rome Eur La Lama by Adicosp (Associazione Italiana Direttori e Collaboratori Sportivi). To begin was Cristina Blasetti (Sustainability Manager FIGC), who detailed the Sustainability processes in Italian and European football: strategies, aims, and the next steps for orienting the footballing ecosystem cohesively on socio-environmental sustainability.

Following this, two areas of the FIGC Sustainability Strategy were shared. For Social Sustainability and Policy 4 ‘Football for all abilities’, the role of the DAO (Disability Access Officer) and the audio description systems for visually impaired fans at football games were presented. On the theme of Environmental Sustainability and Policy 11 ‘Sustainability in Infrastructure, the FIGC’s work at the Technical Federal Centre as part of the Coverciano 3.0 project was outlined.
