The Federal Court of Appeal, chaired by Mario Luigi Torsello, has rejected the claims of AZ Picerno and USD Bitonto. The two clubs were referred to the Court on account of unlawful disruption of the match and played on 5 May 2019, the result of which determined the final standings in Serie D Group H. Picerno were sanctioned by the National Federal Court with relegation in last place in Serie C in 2019/2020, while Bitonto had five points docked, in a match which called into question the legitimacy of the final standings in Serie D Group H.
The Court also rejected the complaints of the Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Audace Cerignola and confirmed the sanctions imposed by the National Federal Court against Vincenzo Mitro, Nicola De Santis and Vincenzo De Santis (4 years of inhibition), Daniele Fiorentino and Onofrio Turitto (1 year of disqualification). The complaints of Michele Anaclerio (disqualification reduced from 2 years to 1 year and 8 months) and Francesco Cosimo Patierno (disqualification reduced from 1 year and 8 months to 1 year and 4 months) have been partially accepted.
