THE NATIONAL TEAM RETURN TO MILAN. The Azzurri will return to Milan 123 days after the final match of the Nations League group stage against France, when the Meazza was sold out (68,000 spectators) and gained a record income for a National Team match. There have been four previous meetings between Italy and Germany in Milan, each of them in friendlies. Two wins for Italy, 3-1 in the first clash at Campo Milan in January 1923 and then 3-2 in May 1940 at San Siro, two draws (1-1 and 0-0) in the friendlies played - both on November 15 - in the 2013 and 2016.  It was in Milan where Italy played its first-ever match on 15 May 1910 against France at the Arena Civica, winning decisively 6-2. Milan also witnessed the birth of the Azzurri myth, as on 6 January 1911, Italy wore the blue jersey for the first time in a match against Hungary. The second city after Rome to host the most national team matches (61, with a record of 39 wins, 19 draws, and 3 losses), Milan was also the headquarters of the Italian Football Federation from 1905 to 1911. The national team has played at four different venues in the city: the Arena Civica, the Velodromo Sempione (demolished in 1928), the Campo Milan on Viale Lombardia, and the San Siro Stadium, named after Giuseppe Meazza since 3 March 1980. In the Lombard capital, the Azzurri maintained an unbeaten streak that lasted nearly a century, precisely 96 years: from the 1-2 loss to Hungary in January 1925 at Campo Milan (with the other defeat to the Hungarians occurring at the Arena Civica in 1911) to the 1-2 loss to Spain in October 2021 at the 'Meazza'.

 In the Lombard capital, the Azzurri maintained an unbeaten streak that lasted nearly a century, precisely 96 years: from the 1-2 loss to Hungary in January 1925 at Campo Milan (with the other defeat to the Hungarians occurring at the Arena Civica in 1911) to the 1-2 loss to Spain in October 2021 at the 'Meazza'. The national team's biggest victory in Milan was against France, winning 9-4 on 18 January 1920, while Austria is the most frequently faced opponent (6 times), followed by Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary, and Portugal (5 times).

Reduced-price tickets for Under 12s are available for children born after 20 March 2013, while reduced-price tickets for Under 18s are for those born after 20 March 2007. Over 65 tickets are available for individuals born before 20 March 1960. Reduced-price Vivoazzurro tickets are reserved for holders of the Vivo Azzurro Membership Card. The 'Reduced University' tickets are for university students enrolled in the current academic year and can only be purchased at Vivaticket sales points upon presentation of a student ID. The Red and Orange First Ring Side Promo Family tickets for adults and Under 18s are reserved for family groups of at least three people, including two adults and one or two minors (born after 20 March 2007).
