The Under-21 side will face Germany on Saturday 19 November (kick-off at 17.30 CET) in what is sure to be a great occasion at the stadio Del Conero in Ancona. After the friendly games with England Japan, the Azzurrini, led by Paolo Nicolato, continue their preparations ahead of the European Championships taking place next June in Georgia and Romania. Tickets for the Germany game are now available at designated Vivaticket sales points and online at figc.vivaticket.it and vivaticket.com. Tickets are set at reduced rates with special discounted prices for the Under 18s.
 
The Under 21s return to Ancona after 14 years, with their last game being a 0-0 draw with Israel on 11 October 2008. There have been nine head to head meetings with Germany over the years, with Italy winning twice, Germany four times, and three draws.
