The Azzurre are getting ready to start the new season with the real possibility of qualifying for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. On Friday 2 September, Milena Bertolini's National Team will face Moldova in an away match, and then close the cycle of qualifying matches on Tuesday 6 September in Ferrara against Romania (kick-off at 18:30 CEST). The challenge at the Stadio Paolo Mazza could be the decisive one in terms of securing the World Cup place. From 12 noon on Wednesday 31 August, tickets for Italy vs. Romania will be on sale at Vivaticket agencies and on the websites figc.vivaticket.it and vivaticket.com.
At the moment, Italy lead Group G with 21 points, two more than Switzerland, who will face Croatia away and Moldova at home in their last two games. The winners will qualify for the World Cup and the second will reach the play-offs scheduled for October.

Holders of federal cards and CONI cards valid until 2022 with the right to a seat in the Tribuna d'Onore will be able to access the Tribuna d'Onore - subject to availability - by collecting the entry coupon at the accreditation box office of the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Corso Piave on 6 September, from 10:00 to 13:00 CEST and from 15:00 to 18:00 CEST. Holders of federation cards and CONI cards valid for 2022 who are not entitled to a seat in the Tribuna d'Onore will be able to access the Gradinata Est - until all available seats have been filled - by collecting the entry coupon at the accreditation box office of the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Corso Piave on 6 September from 10:00 to 13:00 CEST and from 15:00 to 18:00 CEST.
