Voting is now open for the "Pallone Azzurro", the prize awarded by the fans to the best male and female national team player of the year. In this edition, the Azzurri community will be asked to vote online, picking one of five candidates for each national team. There will be two polls, "Best Azzurro" and "Best Azzurra" of 2021.
The five candidates for Roberto Mancini's national team are Barella, Chiesa, Donnarumma, Insigne and Spinazzola, while those for Milena Bertolini's team are Bonansea, Cernoia, Giacinti, Girelli and Pirone.
It will be possible to vote for the Azzurri and Azzurre, from 13 to 30 December, on the site www.figc.it at the following link: https://bit.ly/30p7C8B
The Azzurro and Azzurra with the highest votes will receive the award, with past champions including the likes of Buffon, Verratti, Pirlo, Giugliano etc.
